Sportsunite Monaco provides advice and assistance to companies and individuals, primarily in the world of sport and media
Liz Roberts is a Monaco-based, SRA-regulated solicitor, licensed to practise law in England and Wales SRA | Person details | Solicitors Regulation Authority

Having worked as an in-house lawyer for many years in Monaco, Liz established Sportsunite Monaco in January 2000 to provide advice and assistance to sport and media-related businesses and professional sportspeople.
​
Over the past 20 years, Liz has worked with rightsholders, sports personalities and their management companies, in relation to the negotiation, drafting, and completion of their commercial contracts.

Organisers of pop concerts, art fairs, film festivals, and exhibitions in Europe and Asia;

​In addition, Liz acts as part-time Legal Counsel for a number of established businesses and family offices in Monaco, the UK, and elsewhere in Europe.

Her role in this respect has included liaising, on behalf of clients, with external legal counsel on major litigation in the UK, USA, and other jurisdictions, advising clients on the sale / purchase of their businesses, and drafting general legal documents and correspondence.

Liz also advises HNWIs on their relocation to Monaco.

ABOUT LIZ
​
​After graduating in law from the University of Bristol and completing her Law Society Finals, Liz trained as a Solicitor with a major London law firm, joining its Company / Commercial department post-qualification.
Subsequently, Liz moved to Monaco where she worked as Vice President - Legal and Business Affairs for Grundy Worldwide, a multinational Media, TV Production and Distribution Company.
After its sale, Liz was appointed General Counsel of Zepter International, a multi-brand Group with a global sports sponsorship programme. In addition to her role as in-house lawyer, Liz was responsible for drafting and negotiating global sponsorship and endorsement agreements as well as overseeing the Group’s young driver programme.
Her involvement at the highest level of sport resulted in the creation of Sportsunite Monaco which, today, is a successful advisory and consultancy business.
